A Red Hat Certified Architect in Enterprise Linux (RHCA-Enterprise Linux) is a Red Hat Certified Engineer in Enterprise Linux (RHCE-Enterprise Linux) who has attained our highest level of certification by passing —and keeping current— three additional certifications related to advanced management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Candidates for Red Hat Certified Architect in Enterprise Linux must hold a current Red Hat Certified Engineer in Enterprise Linux Certification and take and pass any three of the following exams:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Cloud Infrastructure Exam (EX210)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ceph Cloud Storage Exam (EX260)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Services Management and Automation Exam (EX358)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Identity Management (EX362)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Deployment and Systems Management (EX403)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Linux (EX415)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in High Availability Clustering (EX436)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Performance Tuning (EX442)
While it is not necessary to earn Red Hat Certified Engineer in Enterprise Linux prior to attempting these exams you will not be awarded Red Hat Certified Architect in Enterprise Linux until you complete the base requirements for the certification.
Candidates who earn specialist certifications on their journey toward RHCA automatically extend the currency of any other RHCE, RHCASA and RHCA credentials they hold in all specialization paths.
